We have some water Vapor Fireplaces that do not have heat and some that do have heat. They are marked on our site, however, if you need help please call 800-217-0735. You can run any water fireplace without the heat option. Will my Water Vapor Electric Fireplace plug into any standard outlet?
Yes. All of our water vapor electric fireplaces are ready to plug into any standard 120V household outlet.
How large of an area will my water vapor electric fireplace heat?
Our water vapor electric fireplaces that have heat option can be used to supplement heat for rooms of up to 400 square feet. Electric Fireplaces are not meant to be primary source of heat.
Are water vapor electric fireplaces cost-efficient?
Yes. water vapor electric fireplaces are the most cost-efficient to operate.
Is it safe to move the fireplace to another location once it is assembled?
Before moving any water vapor electric fireplace please make sure you empty all the water out of it fireplaces. It will ensure safe transportation for the fireplace.
How many BTUs does it give off?
On average 4600 BTUs for those water vapor units that have heat option. Note, not all water vapor fireplaces produce heat.
Most units come with remote control. Use the remote to turn the fireplace on or off. Manual controls are also available on each unit. Most common locations are: on the front, side or back, depending on the model. Many units have a wifi app option. Please refer to the installation manuals on how to download and operate your water vapor fireplace via wifi app.
Does water vapor electric fireplaces need any venting or a chimney?
Water vapor electric fireplaces do not require chimney. Water vapor electric fireplaces require air intakes to generate vape. If you have any question please contact our support at 800-217-0735.
Do water vapor electric fireplaces give off any fumes or gases?
No, our fireplaces do not emit any fumes, CO2, smoke or emissions.
Does the glass front of an water vapor electric fireplaces gets hot?
No, the glass front always remains cool to the touch. It is safe for children and pets. The heating element is separate from the flame effect area and is located above or below the glass, depending on the model. The heating elements are set behind safety screens and do not get hot enough to burn.
Is there much maintenance with your electric fireplaces?
All water vapor fireplaces will require maintenance of the mist makers and water chambers. Maintenance can range quarterly to annually depending on frequency of use. Most common is every 6 months.
How do water vapor fireplaces get shipped to my home?
Larger and heavier items will be shipped freight. Some of Dimplex Opti-Myst Fireplaces will be in multiple boxes on the pallet depending on your selection. Aquafire & Afirewater fireplaces are shipped in plywood cartoons. Smaller and lighter items ship via FedEx. See shipping policy for more information.
